Lee Kyung-hoon tied for 7th at PGA Tour's Shriners Open 3R...2 strokes off lead



South Korea's Kyung-hoon Lee is tied for seventh place after the third round of the U.S. Professional Golf (PGA) Tour's ShrinersChildren's Open ($7 million purse).

Lee carded seven birdies and one bogey for a 6-under 65 on the third day of the tournament at TPC Summerlin (par-71, 7,255 yards) in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, on Tuesday (July 20).

With a three-day total of 13-under-par 200, Lee will begin the final round in a tie for seventh place.

The tournament was delayed for four hours the previous day due to high winds, which prevented some players from completing their second rounds, and the aftermath of that delay continued today.

South Korean Doug Kim finished the day tied for the lead at 15-under par with J.T. Poston (USA).

Kim has two holes remaining in the third round, 메이저사이트 while Poston has five holes to play.

Four players, including Gary Woodlund (USA), are one stroke off the lead at 14-under.

Lee was in the middle of the pack at 4-under after failing to finish his second round the day before, but he shaved three more strokes off his score in the remaining holes of the resumed second round and carded seven birdies in the third round to leapfrog the field.

Lee, who picked up his second career victory at the AT&T Byron Nelson in May 2022, had his best finish this year in March when he tied for fourth at the Cognizant Classic. His most recent top-10 finish was a tie for ninth at the 3M Open in July.

Kim Joo-hyung Kim, trying to win his third straight event, missed the cut after two rounds at 1-under 141.

Sung Hyun Kim is tied for 44th at 5-under 208.
